GTShelters was asked to be the lead on this project. It required much research and attention to historic restoration. Many layers of paint were removed before beautiful Honduran Mahogany with chain-link marquetry came to life. There were many challenges to this project which included cutting thousands of tiles to represent the original flooring in specific areas, recreating original windows and doors, asbestos removal, hiding electrical switches and outlets and air-conditioning equipment, stripping paint from brass racks and creating a wow-inspiring environment for retail businesses. A successfully completed and highly recognized project.
